SPICY TOFU WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE

Ingredient

  • 300g tofu, 200g straw mushroom, green onion
  • 2 red chili peppers (buy the big ones with mild spicy flavor), minced garlic 1 teaspoon, half a tomato
  • Soup powder, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, corn flour 50g

Perform

Step 1: Prepare

Wash tofu and cut into thin squares. Put the cornstarch on a plate, pick up each piece of bean paste and then put it in a pan of hot oil and fry until golden brown, the dough just needs to stick around the bean.

Step 2:

When frying beans, pay attention to low heat to avoid burning the dough. When fried tofu is golden brown on both sides, put it on a plate and set it aside.

Step 3:

  • Put the pan back on the stove, add oil to the pan, fry the fragrant garlic. Put the chopped onion head in the pan, then add the sliced chili, diced tomato and cook. Add a little water if the pan is too dry and to prevent the tomatoes from burning.
  • After the tomatoes have softened into a sauce, add the mushrooms and stir-fry, season with 1 tablespoon of soup powder, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar.

Step 4:

  • Next, put the fried beans in the pan, add half a cup of water, then turn on high heat and bring to a boil, seasoning the soup to taste. Reduce the heat to smolder to let the beans infuse the spices.
  • Cook until the water dries up. When cooking, avoid using chopsticks to stir much, the beans will be broken. Before turning off the stove, sprinkle some finely chopped green onions.
