Simple homemade candies for those who love sweetness

1. Peanut candy

How to make it:

  • Put the sugar, syrop, cold water in a saucepan and stir to dissolve all the sugar. After that put the stove to boil. When the sugar water boils, add the light butter and cook over low heat ( during the cooking, absolutely do not stir with chopsticks, but only hold the handle of pot and shake it gently)
  • During the cooking process, note that the pot should be shaken regularly to avoid sugar spiling or burning.
  • Prepare a tray before that, sweep a thin layer of oil then dry it with paper, spread a little sesame on top.
  • When the sugar turns golden brown, quickly add baking soda and roasted peanuts to turn off the burner. At this time mix well and immediately pour into the the prepared tray.
  • Sprinkle sesame evenly on top. Remember to do it quickly because if it is too slow, the candy will be hard and will not sprinkle evenly.
  • Wait about 12 minutes for the candy to cool down slightly, then you can take the candy out and cut it into large and small pieces as you like. About 20 minutes later, the peanut candy hardens, can be used immediately or packaged to be stored gradually.

2. Coconut candy

Material: 

  • 250g grated coconut
  • 100ml whipped cream
  • 300g sugar
  • 250g butter
  • 150g chocolate


implementation formula:

  • Put the whipped cream, sugar, butter into a pot with low heat and stir lightly so that the ingredients blend together.
  • Lift down the pot of butter sugar mixture to add the grated coconut and beat well.
  • Place this portion of coconut candy in a shallow rectangular tray and let it cool and put it in the refrigerator to brew for 8 hours.
  •  Take out the coconut candy and cut each 2cm cube.
  • Put the chocolate part in a small pot to cook in water to melt and then dip the coconut candy part in the chocolate to evenly. After dipping the rest of the chocolate into the cake, catch the coconut candy with threads.

3. Pineapple candy

Material:

  • 700g pineapple
  • 100 – 120g sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or malt

The way to make it:

  • Peeled pineapple removes eyes and core. Then put all the pineapple in a quick blend smoothie for 1 minute
  • Place the ground/minced pineapple mixture in a saucepan along with sugar, salt and lemon juice, and place on the stove to cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Then lower the heat until the mixture is slightly comparable, then add the honey and continue cooking until the jam is sticky, then turn off the burner
  • Ladle each bit of jam onto a tray with a little oil. Wait for the pineapple to cool, then pat the round ball. Then roll over the granular line.
