How to stew chicken with traditional medicine with Dreamer pressure cooker

Materials:

  • 1 fresh and clean whole chicken (1 – 1.5kg);
  • 500g mugwort;
  • 1 pack of herbal medicine;
  • Turmeric, ginger, fresh chili;
  • Seasoning: salt

Making:

Step 1: Preliminary:

  • Chicken after cleaning feathers, rub salt and rinse again with water.
  • Wormwood remove the old leaves, wash.
  • Turmeric, ginger washed, minced or smashed.

Step 2: Marinate chicken with ginger, turmeric, herbal medicine and 1 teaspoon salt for 45-60 minutes.

Step 3: Arrange half of the washed wormwood on the bottom of the pot, the rest of it stuffed into the chicken belly. Place the chicken on top of the wormwood, and pour about 250ml of water into the pot.

Step 4: Plug in the power, cover the pot and turn the pot valve to the locked position. For a delicious and tender Dreamer pressure cooker chicken stew, choose the Stewed Soup cooking mode and adjust the highest pressure level.

Step 5: After the drain valve is finished, open the pot, adjust the seasoning to taste.

Note: Traditional Chinese medicine chicken will taste better when eaten hot.
