Ingredient:

  • Squid: 200gr
  • Onion: 1 piece
  • Chili, ginger, pineapple, 2 lemongrass branches, 2 garlic cloves, lemon juice
  • Chili powder, chili sauce, sugar, spices

Step 1: Prepare ingredients

  • Wash the squid, take a knife to cut diagonal lines along the body and then dry.
  • Ginger, chili washed, finely chopped.
  • Pineapple washed and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Peel the onion, cut into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2: Steam the ink

Turn on the fryer, put squid and choose STEAM mode at 100oC for 30 minutes to steam

Step 3: Make Thai Sauce

  • Crush the mixture including: 2 lemongrass branches, 4 purple onions, 2 garlic cloves, 2 slices of ginger, 6 chili peppers, 3 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, 4 tablespoons fish sauce, 2 tablespoons paprika, 4 tablespoons chili sauce and mix well to use with the cooked squid.
