How to make milk tea at home, delicious not inferior to the store

Milk tea is a popular drink loved by many people in Vietnam. With simple recipes and readily available ingredients, you can make this drink at home.

1. Chocolate milk tea

Ingredient:

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 spoon of tapioca starch
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • Tea bag
  • Fresh milk or condensed milk
  • Chocolate syrup

Doing:

  • Black tea is mixed with 80ml of boiling water, soaked for 10-15 minutes to get all the juice out and then filter out the residue.
  • Dissolve cocoa powder with tea, then add chocolate syrup, condensed milk, shake well to mix well.

2. Lipton milk tea

Ingredient:

  • 1-2 tea bags lipton filter bag
  • 100g fresh milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or condensed milk

Doing:

  • Boil the water, then put the tea bag in the cup and pour boiling water in, steep the tea for about 3-5 minutes to get all the tea essence, then discard the filter bag.
  • Pour fresh milk, condensed milk or sugar and tea cup and stir well. Depending on your taste, you can change the amount of this milk.
  • Add ice to enjoy immediately if you want to drink cold summer refreshments, or drink hot on a cold winter day.

3. Matcha milk tea

Ingredient:

  • 30g green tea powder
  • 600ml sweetened fresh milk
  • Sugar or condensed milk
  • Jelly jelly or pearls

Doing:

  • Using a large bowl, then pour in the green tea powder, slowly add 200ml of water to the bowl and stir until the tea infuses.
  • Put fresh milk in a pot and heat it until it boils, then pour the green tea powder mixture into the pot. Continue to cook on low heat until the mixture boils again, then turn off the heat and let the milk tea cool down naturally.
  • When the tea has cooled, pour into small cups, add ice and jelly to each cup and enjoy immediately

4. Milk tea with black tea

Ingredient:

  • 15g black tea: 15g
  • 300ml water: 300ml
  • 125ml fresh milk: 125ml
  • Sugar or honey

Doing:

  • Put the black tea into the teapot, then pour boiling water into the teapot, cover and incubate the tea for 3-5 minutes depending on how you want the tea to be more or less strong.
  • Pour tea into a cup, add milk, sugar and topping and stir well to have a cup of milk tea that is both delicious and nutritious.
