For making sponge cakes with pressure cookers, the ingredients needed are:

  • Wheat flour: about 1 cup equivalent to 140g
  • Eggs: 3 eggs
  • Baking powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda:  1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt:  1/4 teaspoon
  • Sugar: 200g
  • Milk:   1/2 cup (120ml)
  • Vanilla: 1 spoon (spoon)
  • Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons (spoon)
  • Oil: 60ml

Step 1: Crack eggs into a bowl, add vanilla and sugar

Step 2: Use a whisk or use your hands to whip it up

Step 3: Sift in the flour and mix well with the above mixture

Step 4: Heat the Dreamer pressure cooker by plugging it in, press Start and let it sit for about 2 minutes

Step 5: Line a layer of parchment paper into the pressure cooker

Step 6: Add the above mixed flour mixture and adjust the pressure segment gradually

Step 7: Continue to cook for 20 minutes, then open the lid, use a toothpick to check if the cake is cooked or not. If cooked, press the Keep Warm/Cancel button to turn off the stove.

Step 8: Open the lid of the pot, leave the cake in the pot for another 5 minutes, then remove the cake to a plate and enjoy
