– Sugar: 2 tablespoons
– White wine: 2 tablespoons
– Cooking oil: 2 tablespoons
– Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
– Salt: teaspoon
– Cold water: 300ml
Steps to take
Step 1: Preparing ingredients
– Wash beef tendon, then put in a pot to boil with salt for about 1 hour. Use a pressure cooker to shorten the time. After boiling, take out the beef tendons and rinse them in cold water, drain and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
– Peeled and sliced garlic
– Peeled red onion, cut the onion in half
– Ginger washed, peeled then sliced
Step 2: Put the oil in, wait until the hot end is old, then add the sugar and brake the sugar, pay attention to the low pressure, when the sugar is medium dark brown, then put the beef tendons in the pot, stir really well and quickly. After about 4 minutes, you add soy sauce and wine, stir well and continue to boil the mixture for another 5 minutes.
Step 3: Put ginger + garlic + red onion + bay leaf + star anise + cold water into the pot and stew with low pressure until the water is almost completely gone. Turn off the heat, scoop out into a bowl and eat while still hot.
