PURPLE SWEET POTATO DUMPLINGS

Ingredient:

  • Dumpling dough 200g
  • Fresh milk, coconut milk
  • Purple sweet potato
  • Sugar, cooking oil, dry yeast

Making:

Step 1: Prepare sweet potatoes and milk:

  • Steam and mash sweet potatoes.
  • Heat or microwave milk until slightly warm. Mix with sugar, coconut milk, yeast and divide the mixture in half.
  • Divide the dough into two parts, knead the 120g portion with ½ of the milk mixture.
  • The 80g flour is mixed with purple sweet potatoes and then kneaded with the remaining milk.
  • Let the dough rest for 5 minutes, add cooking oil and continue kneading.

Step 2: Incubate the dough

  • Incubate the dough with a warm towel or plastic wrap for 1 hour.
  • Roll the two pieces of dough into even portions.
  • Place on top of each other, roll lightly to bond and curl.

Step 3: Steam the cake

  • Put in a basket and steam in the Dreamer high-frequency rice cooker with the STEAM button for about 15-20 minutes, until the cake is cooked.
  • Press START to start cooking.
