SHALLOT CAKE

Ingredient:

  • Rice flour, tapioca flour 100g
  • Minced meat 100g, 2 eggs, chives
  • Pepper, chili garlic, minced red onion
  • Spices: fish sauce, lemon juice, white sugar

  

Making:

Step 1: The dough part

  • Sift tapioca starch, rice flour, a little salt, mix well with 170ml of boiling water, then let it cool.
  • Knead the dough by hand until smooth, then rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare ingredients

  • Wash chives, cut into pieces.
  • Mix shallots with sauteed garlic, salt, fish sauce, pepper and shallot.

Step 3: Seize the dough

  • Divide the dough into small portions, then roll into thin round pieces.
  • Put the filling in the middle and cover with your hands.
  • Simmer until you run out of dough and filling.

Step 4: Steam the cake

  • Put the cake into the Dreamer high-frequency rice cooker, line it with parchment paper or banana leaves, steam the cake with STEAM mode for about 20 minutes until the cake is cooked.
  • Press START to start cooking.
